Celebrity Golf Tournament this Weekend

It’s not often celebrities find their way to the piney woods of East Texas. But when they do, we take full advantage! Raising funds for underprivileged children, this weekend East Texas is hosting two day golf tournaments. The Pineywoods Country Club in Nacogdoches is hosting a golf scramble Friday beginning at 8am. Each team will be playing with a current or former professional athlete. And on Saturday, Crown Colony in Lufkin is hosting the Mike James Challenge.

Which celebrities will be in attendance? Just to list a few…

Mike James, Walter Davis, Robert Reid, Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Broderick Thomas, Sleepy Floyd, Allen Level, Howard Smith, Bonzi Wells, Lamar Lathan, and Darrell Armstrong.

As a corporate sponsor, Etech is excited about this opportunity to play next to some incredible athletes all while raising money for children.

Hope we see you there!
