What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify and develop leadership talent by creating a robust development plan for all levels of leadership through-out your center.  Consistently inspect and evaluate leadership needs and create and execute a plan to shore up any leadership gaps.
  • Maintains regular client contact, solves complex issues.  Anticipate and plan for client needs to ensure delivery.
  • Create and maintain a center culture that reflects Etech’s 12 character commitments.
  • Supervise, direct, coordinate and evaluate operational performance as well as coach, mentor and develop leadership staff.
  • Plan, assign and direct work as well as appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve issues.
  • Support the equitable assignment of sales force quotas and ensures goals are optimally allocated to all applicable sales channels and resources.
  • Establish and maintain robust succession plan to ensure leadership readiness, clear career path opportunities/communication and bench strength for key roles.
  • Support ongoing development of leadership team and bench through LD&E training programs as well as execute on Coaching Tactics with your team.  Inspect coaching logs, and provide ongoing development feedback.
  • Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes as directed by AVP/VP.
  • Maintain, develop and report pertinent operational statistics, financial management information, and results.
  • Ensure effective communication and key messages are cascaded to all levels as applicable.
  • Advocate for employee teams and community participation.  Lead by example by being actively involved, and support leadership and team member involvement.
  • Communicate regularly by providing a weekly recap of center activities, key performance opportunities, solutions implemented and center results to AVP/VP of Operations.
  • Constantly monitor processes and procedures for updates and improvement opportunities.
  • Responsible for accurate revenue forecasting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Proactively anticipate staffing needs based on seasonality of programs and client needs.
  • Implement and execute robust recognition strategy including but not limited to monthly rewards and recognition ceremonies and submitting center content into monthly newsletter.
  • Establishes clearly defined department and individual goals and objectives and communicate through clearly defined letter of expectations, departmental meetings, one on one meetings, etc.  Provide periodic performance feedback versus objectives and conducts annual performance reviews.
  • Conduct monthly performance review for direct reports and ensure that the Operations team is aware of successes & failures.  Create an environment of teamwork, accountability and solution oriented thinking.
  • Build partnership and trusted advisor relationship with supporting organizational departments.  Conduct weekly staff meeting and include supporting departments.  (HR, Recruiting, Training, Technology, etc)
  • Ensure consistency in abiding and complying with HR policies and procedures throughout your center.
  • Reviews operations’ performance daily and ensures production goals are attained.
  • Facilitate fireside chats monthly and partner with human resources regarding focus group needs and deliverables.
  • Support ongoing development of leadership team by offering/conducting monthly training session.
  • Successfully lead assigned subordinates to meet stakeholder and client expectations.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned department personnel.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Other responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; developing employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

What We Expect You To Have

  • High level of proficiency with MicroSoft Word, Power Point, and Excel are essential;
  • Four year college degree preferred. Four to ten year’s related experience as the senior manager of a like size organization with equal support activities. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Valid driver’s license or other Government issued ID.
