WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Architect, develop, and maintain a highly scalable data warehouse and build/maintain ETL processes.
- Utilize Python integrate several heterogeneous operational systems across the business into cloud based data warehouse
- Integrate third party data like AI speech platform, customer contact platforms (like Five9, Avaya, Salesforce)
- Responsible for High level & low-level Data flow design.
- Collaborate in dimension model design and data layer for end user querying.
- Co-ordinate with upstream system owners and downstream system owners to keep data warehouse implementation and changes in synch.
- Lead, train and mentor a team of data engineers.
WHAT WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
- 8+ years of experience in understanding of best practices for building and designing ETL code using python
- Engineering/ Master’s Degree from a good Institute (preferably Computer Science or related)
- Hands on with python programming language for data extraction and analysis from integration perspective.
- Strong Intergradation experience with third party data like AI speech platform, customer contact platforms (like Five9, Avaya, Salesforce)
- Strong Knowledge of the different storage solution like SFTP, S3, FTP etc..
- Experience working as an ETL resource in a Data Engineering, Data Warehousing or Business Intelligence team
- Understanding of data integration/data engineering architecture and should be aware of ETL standards, methodologies, guidelines and techniques
- Familiar with different project management methods
- Familiar with software development design patterns and apply them in software design.
- Strong understanding of SQL queries, aggregate functions, Complex joins and performance tuning
- Should have good exposure of Databases like Redshift/Snowflake/SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL (any one of these)
- Broad understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts
