What You’ll Be Doing:
Ensure all incoming calls are answered with courtesy and ensure efficient resolution of all guests’ inquiries for various hotel services and operations.
Provide a friendly welcoming greeting with all client interactions.
Assist in booking and blocking any rooms according to required standards and managing all special reservations and monitoring all reservations and discounts.
Ensure compliance with all security and safety standards on an everyday basis and ensure optimal utilization of all resort software systems and maintain knowledge of all room types and its availability.
Provide excellent customer service for all hotel inquiries.
Features and benefits of the property are to be provided with enthusiasm and without prompting.
Staff customize the experience by determining preferences, offering a choice room/bed type etc.
Inquire about any special requests for the client.
Make sure to fully explain guarantee and cancellation policies to guests.
Skillfully and knowledgeably address inquiries and requests and speak clearly.
Ask for the correct spelling of caller’s name and recognize repeated guests.
Ask the caller’s contact details like mobile number, e-mail etc. if they are first time visitor.
Make sure reservation details are reviewed including hotel location, arrival/departure, dates, time, the spelling of names, address and e-mail.
Rate and room /bed type preference is confirmed, along with special requests, confirmation number is provided.
Ask which e-mail address they would like to use to send the reservation confirmation.
Enquire about concierge services for airport transfers, pre-arrange entertainment, local transportation, or directions.
Standard check-in and check-out times are provided to clients along with early check-in and check-out charges in case requested by guests
What We Expect You To Have:
Minimum of Four (4) CXC/GCE subjects (Including English Language and a Math Subject City and Guilds Math and English also accepted or a HEART Level-I or II Customer Service, Team Jamaica or Front Desk-related certificate
Minimum of 1 year hotel reservations/ front desk or call center reservations experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent relationship building and rebuttal skills
