Lufkin is a town of approximately 32,000 people and sits at the crossroads of East Texas at the intersections of Highway US 59 an Interstate 69 which leads to Houston and the Rio Grande Valley to the south, Nacadoches and Texarkana to the north. Lufkin is home to many Oil Field industries as well as the popular Lufkin Panthers.
