Cookie Policy
This website uses cookies to improve your experience. We'll assume you're ok with this, but you can opt-out if you wish. Read More
Which cookies Etech uses on etechgs.com, why each one is set, how long it lasts, and how to change your preferences. The cookie banner gives you one-click control. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal, we do not sell personal data, and we do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include web beacons, pixels, local storage, session storage, software development kits, and server-side fingerprints. This policy refers to all of them as "cookies."
Cookies let us recognize your device on return visits, keep a session active, remember preferences, understand which pages perform, and, where you have consented, measure the reach of our marketing.
Every cookie on etechgs.com falls into one of four categories. The cookie banner lets you accept, reject, or fine-tune each category, except Strictly Necessary, which the Site requires to operate.
These cookies support authentication, session continuity, cookie preference storage, load balancing, and fraud prevention. They cannot be disabled through the banner because the Site cannot operate without them.
These cookies help us understand how visitors navigate the Site in aggregate. We use this data to fix issues, improve page load, and decide which pages deserve investment.
IP addresses captured by Google Analytics are truncated on receipt. Etech has not enabled Google Signals or any ad personalization feature inside Analytics.
These cookies remember choices you make so the Site feels familiar on return visits. They are not used to identify you to third parties.
These cookies measure the reach of Etech's professional marketing and retarget visitors who have shown intent on specific product pages. We use them only where consent has been collected in opt-in jurisdictions, or where a US visitor has not exercised the opt-out through the banner or through a Global Privacy Control signal.
Etech does not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act, California Privacy Rights Act, Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, and Colorado Privacy Act. The cookies above are used only to measure our own marketing and to retarget visitors within the boundaries of those laws.
Some cookies on the Site are set by third parties when you interact with embedded content or when a third-party analytics or marketing service is loaded. Those parties are independent controllers or joint controllers of the data they collect, and their privacy notices govern that data.
On your first visit the Site displays a banner that lets you accept all cookies, reject all except strictly necessary, or customize by category. Your selection is stored in etech_cookie_consent for twelve months, after which the banner appears again. You can change your selection at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
Modern browsers let you block or delete cookies, including third-party cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Site from functioning. See the controls for Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, and Brave in each browser's settings under Privacy and Security.
Etech honors the Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising where applicable US state privacy laws recognize it, and as a signal to disable non-essential cookies where consent under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive would otherwise be required. When a GPC signal is detected, the Site loads only strictly necessary cookies and records the opt-out for the session.
Do Not Track is a legacy header with no uniform interpretation. The Site does not rely on Do Not Track but defers to GPC where present.
Where the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, or a similar opt-in regime applies, we rely on consent for all cookies other than strictly necessary. Consent is captured through the banner and stored in etech_cookie_consent. You can withdraw consent at any time through "Cookie preferences" without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Where US state privacy laws apply, we operate on a notice-and-opt-out basis for performance, functional, and targeting cookies, and we honor GPC. The banner provides a one-click way to reject all non-essential cookies.
Cookie durations are listed in the tables above. Aggregated analytics that are derived from cookie data are retained for up to fourteen months from the last visit. When a cookie expires or is deleted, the related identifier is purged from our analytics store on its next scheduled maintenance cycle.
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under sixteen. Etech does not knowingly deploy cookies to identify children, and targeting and advertising cookies are withheld in any session that signals a child audience.
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, service providers, or legal requirements. We will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where changes are material, display a banner on the Site. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy in jurisdictions where notice-and-opt-out applies; in consent-based jurisdictions, renewed consent will be requested.
