Etech Global Services: Making a Remarkable Difference in Our Communities

Here at Etech Global Services, our vision is to make a remarkable difference for our customers, our associates and within our communities.  We truly strive to live up to this vision in each of these areas and particularly in the area of community service. Community service is part of the culture here at Etech and something that each Etech location puts into practice on a regular basis.   I’d like to take this opportunity to share with you what our Etech associates have been up to in their communities, both here and abroad.

Etech Nacogdoches:

At Etech headquarters here in Nacogdoches, Texas, members of our staff recently partnered with Mission Nac, which is a local team comprised of several churches and community groups, that provide much needed physical labor for members of the community.  Our Etech team worked on cleaning out school busses used for summer youth camps, cleared away debris from various yards and homes, and spent time trimming limbs and bushes.

Another group of Nacogdoches associates have invested in an on-going community mentoring program for students attending the Martin School of Choice. These Etech members have taken the time to build relationships with students teaching them about goal-setting and learning to overcome obstacles in life.

Etech Dallas:

Our Etech Dallas team participated in the Nationwide Stand Up To Cancer event by taking calls and donations to support collaborative cancer research programs.

Etech Palm Beach: 

Etech associates in our Palm Beach location put together a Toy Drive for several local Palm Beach Charities.  Toys were donated for kids aged newborn to 12 years old.

Etech Lufkin:

Associates from our Etech Lufkin team partnered with the Family Crisis Center in Lufkin to do a clothing drive for needy families in the community.  Thanks to the efforts of our Lufkin staff, a sizable donation was made to the Family Crisis Center enabling them to help many families in need.

Etech Jamaica: 

Our Etech team in Jamaica recently spent a day helping the environment by cleaning up the local beach.  Anyone who has ever traveled to Jamaica knows how beautiful the beaches are; thanks Etech Jamaica for keeping your community beautiful.

As you can see, we truly do take to heart the vision of making a remarkable difference in our communities.  We all feel a strong connection to the communities where we live. For many of us, our communities have been our homes for most of our lives.  I’m proud to be part of a company that not only believes in giving back, but puts that belief into action.
